1. How this bounty works

The goal of this bounty is to help BOB Gateway appear in AI answers when people ask how to bridge, move or swap Bitcoin, even when they don't search for BOB by name.

We're looking for creators who can research these questions, compare available solutions and publish genuinely useful content that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot can discover and cite.

Here's how to participate:

  1. Understand BOB Gateway. Read Section 2 to learn what Gateway does, how it works and where it fits among other Bitcoin bridges and cross-chain swap services.

  2. Choose your question. We track 40 queries, all listed in Section 4. The 13 highlighted questions in Section 3 are recommended starting points, but you're free to create content around any of the 40. One article can also answer multiple related questions.

  3. Claim your topic. Pick your question and proposed content angle in the claim sheet before you start writing. Each query initially has 5 creator slots, expandable to 8 for meaningfully different approaches. This helps us spread coverage across the queries and avoid repetitive content.

  4. Do your research. Look at what users are actually asking, explore the available solutions and gather credible sources. If your topic involves fees, rates or execution speed, compare live quotes yourself using the process in Section 6.

  5. Create useful, evidence-backed content. Answer your chosen question directly. Include the relevant BOB articles or swap pages provided in the brief, along with at least 3 credible external sources. Use real examples, comparisons, screenshots or walkthroughs wherever they add value.

  6. Publish your content. You can publish on Medium, Substack, Paragraph, Reddit, X (threads) or YouTube. The bounty runs from 16 October to 2 November 2026.

  7. Earn through AI citations. After the deadline, Scribble checks how often AI assistants cite your published content across the tracked queries. A query qualifies once your content has been cited at least 3 times for that same question. Your score also rewards BOB Gateway appearing alongside your citations on unbranded queries. 1 point = $1, with up to $100 per creator. See Section 8 for the full scoring breakdown.

One thing to remember

We're not looking for articles that simply say BOB Gateway is the best.

We want useful answers that explain where BOB fits, how it compares with other services and when someone should consider using it.

Your content should still be useful even if you removed BOB from it. If another service offers a better rate or is better suited to a particular use case, say so. Good research, original evidence and fair comparisons matter more than promotional claims.

2. What BOB Gateway is

BOB calls itself the Bank of Bitcoin. The product this bounty is about is BOB Gateway, a service for swapping native Bitcoin (BTC) into other assets on other blockchains, and back again.

Here's how a swap works. You say what you want, for example 0.1 BTC into USDT on Ethereum. A solver quotes the minimum you'll receive. You send one Bitcoin transaction, and the solver sends that asset to your wallet on the other chain. If it can't, your BTC is refunded.

It works in reverse too. You can swap ETH, USDT and other assets back into BTC on the Bitcoin network.

People often search for this as a "Bitcoin bridge". Gateway doesn't work like a classic bridge, which locks your BTC and gives you a wrapped token instead. Gateway swaps your BTC for the asset you actually asked for. So use "Bitcoin bridge" for the category people search, not as a description of BOB. The point to get across: you can move Bitcoin's value into the asset you want, on the chain you want, without wrapping it first or going through an exchange. The fair way to choose a service is to compare what each one actually pays out for the same swap at the same time, and what you have to trust while the swap settles.

Key terms

Term

What it means

Native BTC

Real bitcoin on the Bitcoin network.

Wrapped BTC

A token on another chain that stands for BTC held somewhere else. WBTC, cbBTC and tBTC are examples.

Bridge

Moves an asset to another chain, usually by locking it and issuing a wrapped version there.

Cross-chain swap

Turns one asset into a different asset on another chain, for example BTC into USDT on Ethereum.

Solver

The liquidity provider that fills your swap order.

Quote

What a service says you'll receive, shown before you send anything. That amount is the quoted output.

Slippage

How far the final amount is allowed to move away from the quote while the swap settles.

Basis point (bps)

0.01%. Useful for showing small differences between quotes.

Custody

Who holds your funds at each step of a swap.

Light client

Code running on a blockchain that can check whether a Bitcoin payment really happened.

Branded question

A question that names BOB or BOB Gateway. A non-branded question doesn't.

QFO (query fan-out)

One of the exact questions we track in AI assistants. There are 40, listed in section 4.

Citation

When an AI assistant names or links your article as a source in its answer.

3. The 13 questions to write about

These are the questions we want articles on first. Pick one and answer it directly. Each block tells you what to write, what to cover, which BOB pages to link, and what to watch out for.

Some questions look alike. Questions 3 and 11 are both about BTC to ETH, but 3 asks how to choose and 11 asks which service pays out the most. The same goes for 4 and 12 (ETH to BTC) and for 5 and 13 (BTC to USDT). Answer the one you picked. If someone already covered your route, take a different angle.

Claim your question first. Before you publish, claim your primary question and the angle you plan to take in the claim sheet: CLAIM SHEET. Each primary question starts with a cap of 5 creators. It can go up to 8, but only for angles that are meaningfully different from the ones already claimed. If your question is similar to another creator's, make sure your article doesn't repeat theirs.

10. Which non-custodial Bitcoin bridge settles native BTC transfers the fastest?

Article idea: Fastest vs cheapest Bitcoin bridge: what matters more?

What to cover: What slows each service down (mostly waiting for Bitcoin confirmations), and the time estimate each one gives for the same swap.

BOB article to link: Cheapest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC: Fees and Speed Compared (the speed section)

Keep in mind: Every service here calls itself non-custodial, and they mean different things by it. Say what each one holds, and when.

11. Which platform gives the best rate for BTC to ETH?

Article idea: BTC → ETH: which service pays out the most ETH?

What to cover: Live quotes from several services for the same amount at the same time (section 6).

Question

In section 3

1

What is the best Bitcoin bridge for moving native BTC across multiple chains?

Q1

2

Which Bitcoin bridge supports native BTC without requiring wrapped assets?

Q2

3

Which cross-chain Bitcoin bridge is best for self-custody users?

How to cover it: Compare where your BTC sits while each swap settles, who controls it and how you get it back if a swap fails, using Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC.

4

Which Bitcoin bridge is best for large BTC transfers without custodial risk?

How to cover it: Cover who holds your BTC during the swap and what each service quotes at a large amount, including any limit on order size, using Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC and Cheapest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC.

5

Which Bitcoin bridge supports the widest range of destination chains for native BTC?

How to cover it: List the chains each service reaches from native BTC, from its own docs with the date you checked, and use the live Supported Routes & Assets page for Gateway.

6

Which Bitcoin bridge has the lowest fees for large BTC transfers?

Q9

7

How do Bitcoin bridge fees change with BTC transfer size?

How to cover it: Quote the same swap at two or more amounts on each service and show how the gap in payout changes with size, using Cheapest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC, which compares three trade sizes.

8

Which BTC bridge gives users a fixed quote before the cross-chain transfer?

How to cover it: Explain what each service locks in before you send BTC: Gateway's signed quote sets a guaranteed minimum output and shows every fee, your order is created on those terms, and if the solver can't pay on them it retries for about an hour, then refunds your BTC (Gateway Deep Dive). Cheapest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC compares how firm each service's quote is.

9

Which non-custodial Bitcoin bridge settles native BTC transfers the fastest?

Q10

10

Which Bitcoin bridge offers the best balance of fees, speed, and security?

How to cover it: Put each service's quote, time estimate and custody model side by side for the same swap, and say which one suits which kind of user; BOB's main guide has a section on this question.

11

Which Bitcoin bridges are trust-minimized instead of custodial or multisig-based?

How to cover it: Explain each service's custody design (one solver per order, hash time-locked contracts, validator-run vaults or a signer set) and who you trust in each, using Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC.

12

Which Bitcoin bridge has the fewest trust assumptions for moving native BTC?

How to cover it: List who you rely on at each step with each service and what they could do if they misbehaved, starting from the trust table in Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC.

13

What security model should I compare when choosing a Bitcoin bridge?

How to cover it: Give readers a checklist: where your BTC goes, who controls that address, what confirms the swap settled, what happens if the other side goes quiet and what you receive at the end, as in Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC.

14

Can native BTC be moved cross-chain without relying on a centralized bridge custodian?

How to cover it: Answer it directly, then show which services take native BTC without a central custodian and what you trust instead, using Safest Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC and the Gateway Deep Dive for how Gateway handles each direction.

15

When is bridging BTC better than using a cross-chain swap?

Q7

16

For moving Bitcoin cross-chain, what are the trade-offs between bridging BTC and swapping BTC?

How to cover it: Compare holding a BTC-backed token with swapping into the asset you actually need, covering who holds the BTC, the cost and the number of steps, using How to Move Native BTC Across Chains.

17

Does bridging native BTC preserve Bitcoin exposure better than swapping into another asset?

How to cover it: Explain that a BTC-backed token keeps your exposure to BTC's price while a swap into ETH or a stablecoin changes it, and that Gateway can also deliver wrapped BTC such as WBTC; link The Bitcoin Holder's Guide to wrapped BTC and the BTC → WBTC swap page.

18

Which Bitcoin bridge supports moving native BTC directly to Base?

Q6

19

Which Bitcoin bridge supports moving native BTC directly to Ethereum without a CEX?

How to cover it: Walk through the route: you send one Bitcoin transaction and receive ETH, USDT, USDC or WBTC on Ethereum, instead of an exchange's four steps (deposit, sell, buy, withdraw). Link How to Move Native BTC Across Chains and the BOB swap page for the asset you pick, and cover the other services that support this route.

40

Which platform gives the best rate for BTC to USDT?

Q13

5. How to write your article

  • Answer the question in your first two sentences.

  • Stick to the question you picked. A general "what is BOB" piece won't help.

  • Use real numbers with dates. Don't guess or round up.

  • On non-branded questions where BOB Gateway is relevant, explain clearly what it can do, backed by evidence and links to BOB's pages. This helps AI assistants connect BOB Gateway with the topic.

  • Be fair. Don't assume BOB wins, and say so when another service is better on a point.

  • When you compare prices or speed, explain how you compared them.

  • Say which network each asset is on, and whether it's native or wrapped.

  • Use a table when you compare several services, with one sentence under it saying what it shows.

  • The article should still be useful if you took BOB out of it.

  • Write in your own voice. Don't use em dashes or en dashes.

Links

Put each link inline, next to the claim it supports. Don't collect links at the end.

For a swap question (3, 4, 5, 11, 12 or 13), link in this order:

  1. The BOB swap page listed with your question

  2. The BOB article listed with your question

  3. At least 3 outside sources you pick yourself

  4. The competitor's own docs for any claim about a competitor (section 9)

For the other questions, link the BOB articles listed with your question, plus your 3 outside sources. Only add a BOB swap page if your article walks through that swap.

  • Link BOB's main guide, Best Bitcoin Bridges for Native BTC in 2026, once or twice at most.

  • Use BOB's pages for BOB facts and each competitor's own docs for its facts. Never use BOB's content to prove what a competitor does, or the other way round.

  • Don't make up a URL.

Don't copy each other

Two articles on the same swap are fine if they bring different evidence: your own dated quotes, a different amount, a different network or a different question. Two articles repeating the same BOB vs Garden fee table are not.

If you're also in the Rango bounty, write separate articles. One article can't be submitted to both, even where the questions overlap (BTC to ETH, ETH to BTC and BTC to USDT).

6. How to test quotes

If your question is about prices, fees or speed, test it yourself the way a normal user would, with the swap and amount you're writing about.

  1. Get BOB Gateway's quote in BOB's own app at app.gobob.xyz/swap. If you use another app that offers Gateway, name it, because the same swap can be priced differently in different apps.

  2. Get the other services' quotes within the same few minutes, for the same amount, the same asset and the same network.

  3. Screenshot every quote. Show the amount, what you'd receive, the fees, the time estimate, and the date and time with timezone.

  4. Note the slippage setting if the app shows one, and whether the quote is a guaranteed minimum.

  5. If a service doesn't support the swap, can't quote your amount, or is down, write that down with the time.

  6. Compare what each service would pay out. To show small gaps, use basis points: (best output minus this service's output) ÷ best output × 10,000.

A few rules:

  • A quote isn't a completed swap. If you actually swap, show the transaction links and the amount you received.

  • Only give a swap time you measured yourself. Otherwise use the estimate each service shows, with the date.

  • Never guess numbers, reuse someone else's screenshot or reuse old numbers.

  • BOB Gateway isn't available in some countries (the Gateway FAQ has the list). Don't use a VPN to get around this. If you can't use it, pick a question that doesn't need your own BOB quote, or use BOB's own 14 September 2026 quote tests and say they're BOB's.

A good comparison includes

  • Which services you compared, and why

  • The same input and output asset for every quote

  • The exact destination network

  • What you'd receive, the fees, or another number you can compare directly

  • The date and time of every number

  • Custody or security differences, where they matter

  • A clear conclusion on which service fits which situation

  • Links to official sources

7. Link reference

Every BOB link in this document in one place, plus the official docs of the main competitors.

8. Scoring and Prizes

There is no panel of judges. The LLMs decide.

Your payout is score-based: 1 point = $1. Maximum payout: $100 per creator.

What is a qualified citation?

A query qualifies once your content has been cited 3 or more times for that same query.

  • 3 citations for the same query = 1 qualified query.

  • Repeated citations on the same query do not increase your qualified query count.

  • Queries with fewer than 3 citations do not contribute to your score.

Why? If LLMs repeatedly return to your content for the same question, it suggests your article is becoming a consistent source for that topic.
