About the Project

- Fuel is the fastest L2, powered by the FuelVM.
- Fuel’s unique architecture will allow developers to build experiences never before seen in the Ethereum ecosystem by providing:
- 5k TPS as a rollup on Ethereum (Fuel Ignition)
- 150k TPS with [redacted] as an alt-DA L2 on Ethereum
- 10k proposer sequencing layer

The Fuel stack leverages a new highly efficient 64-bit blockchain virtual machine architecture (the FuelVM) with a new Rust-based blockchain-oriented programming language (Sway), and an asset-centric unspent transaction output model (UTXO-model) designed to operate on inexpensive consumer-grade hardware.
