About the project 

• Re is a restaking platform that leverages reinsurance contracts to generate yield on staked capital.
• Earn up to 16% APR by backing insurance premiums from the $1T reinsurance market.
• Re has $168M in written premiums to date, and backs 26 insurance programs in the US
• Re offers access to low volatility and reliable growth through a diversified portfolio with a focus on homeowners insurance, auto insurance, small business commercial, trucking, aviation, and workers compensation.
• The protocol will use the assets underpinning reUSD and reUSDe to deploy into a diversified portfolio of reinsurance contracts through a licensed reinsurer.
• In return, users will earn yield that is uncorrelated with typical market volatility.
