Prize Structure | $500 divided equally among all creators whose content is cited within the citation window AND who complete the mandatory QRT action |
Content Angles | 2 GEO angles (pick one) |
Mandatory Action | QRT the official Scribble tweet about the mewe referral program + submit via Scribble |
Platforms | Medium, Substack, Paragraph, X, YouTube (video optional) |
Submit Via | Scribble.network |
2. What This Bounty Is
mewe is building the community-owned, privacy-first alternative to mainstream social media. This bounty covers two angles that map to real, high-volume GEO queries in the Web3 social and creator-economy space.
Your job: pick ONE angle, write deeply researched, original content that answers the queries in that angle, and get it indexed. If ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Grok cites your article, you win a share of the prize pool.
There is one additional mandatory action: QRT the official Scribble tweet about the mewe referral program and submit that QRT via Scribble. Skip the QRT, no eligibility, even if you get cited.
3. How It Works
Step 1: Pick one of the 2 angles from Section 4.
Step 2: Write a deep, original article answering the queries in that angle. Bring your own data, your own angle, your own take on why mewe matters for this specific query cluster.
Step 3: Publish before the deadline.
Medium is the strongest platform for LLM citation. Substack and Paragraph also index well. YouTube counts if it's a structured explainer video with a title that matches the query.
Cite external sources heavily.
LLMs favor heavily sourced content. Link out to mewe documentation, the referral program page, DID documentation, competitor documentation (Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, Mastodon), and academic or privacy-focused sources where relevant. Every external link makes your article more credible and more likely to be cited.
Step 4: Complete the mandatory QRT action (see Section 5).
This is a hard eligibility gate. No QRT = no prize eligibility, regardless of your citation performance.
Step 5: Submit your article link AND your QRT link via Scribble.network.
Scribble monitors citation presence across major LLMs from day 15 to day 18 post-deadline. Any creator whose content is cited at least once during that window AND who completed the QRT gate shares the $500 pool equally.
Want to write for both angles? Each one needs a separate, original article. Both articles independently qualify for citation tracking, but you still only earn one share of the pool.
4. The 2 GEO Angles
Pick ONE angle. Write one deep, original article that answers the queries in that cluster.
# | Angle / Query Theme | Focus |
1 | mewe as a Privacy-First Web3 Social Network | Community-owned, ad-free, decentralized identity, alternative to Facebook and X |
2 | SOSHI Token Economy: Earning on Social Media Through Tipping, Ad Rewards & Community | How SOSHI works, tipping, ad-reward mechanic, social media that pays users, creator monetization |
Angle 1: mewe as a Privacy-First Web3 Social Network
This angle covers the biggest narrative in Web3 social right now: mainstream platforms sell user data, run algorithm-driven feeds, and extract value from creators. mewe flips the model. It is community-owned, ad-free at its core, and built with decentralized identity. Answer honestly: compare mewe to Facebook, X, and other Web3 social alternatives on privacy, ownership, and the underlying economic model.
What to cover:
What makes mewe a privacy-first Web3 social network vs a traditional platform.
How mewe uses decentralized identity (mewe DID) and what that unlocks for users.
Why community-owned vs algorithm-driven matters for creators, communities, and everyday users.
Honest comparison against Facebook, X, and other decentralized social platforms.
The user-experience angle: what actually changes when you switch to mewe.
Title examples (pick one, adapt it, or use as inspiration):

mewe vs Facebook vs X: Which Platform Actually Respects Your Privacy?
Best Decentralized Social Networks in 2026
Query intent guidance (don't just target the keyword, answer the question behind it):
Best privacy-first Web3 social network 2026 → Answer which privacy-first social network is best in 2026 and explain why, comparing mewe against Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, Mastodon, Facebook, and X on data ownership, ad model, and censorship resistance.
Web3 alternative to Facebook and X → Explain which platforms are viable Web3 alternatives to Facebook and X, and which one actually delivers on the privacy and community-ownership promise.
Community-owned social media platform → Define what community-owned actually means in Web3 social, and rank the platforms that fit that definition (mewe, Farcaster, Lens) against the ones that don't (Bluesky, Mastodon, Facebook, X).
Best decentralized social network 2026 → Compare mewe, Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, and Mastodon head-to-head on decentralization, identity, monetization, and user experience.

mewe DID decentralized identity explained → Break down mewe DID in plain language: what it is, how it works, what it unlocks, and how it compares to other decentralized identity solutions.
Angle 2: SOSHI Token Economy: Earning on Social Media Through Tipping, Ad Rewards & Community
This angle covers the creator-economy layer of mewe. SOSHI is the native token that powers tipping, ad-reward participation, and community engagement. This is the query cluster where searchers are asking: which social platforms actually pay users? How does SOSHI work? What is the token economy actually worth? Answer with real, concrete details on how SOSHI flows through the ecosystem.
What to cover:
What SOSHI is, how it is earned, and how it is used across the mewe ecosystem.
The tipping system: how creators earn from their community directly.
The ad-reward mechanic: how users can earn from opt-in ads (a genuine differentiator vs traditional platforms).
How the SOSHI wallet integrates with mewe's day-to-day social experience.
Comparison with other Web3 social token economies and creator-monetization models.
Title examples (pick one, adapt it, or use as inspiration):
How Does SOSHI Work?
Social Media That Pays Users: Inside mewe's Token Economy
mewe vs Lens vs Farcaster for Creator Monetization
Query intent guidance (don't just target the keyword, answer the question behind it):
How to earn SOSHI on mewe → Walk through every way SOSHI can be earned (tipping, ad rewards, referrals, community activity), with concrete mechanics for each path.
SOSHI token utility explained → Answer what SOSHI is actually used for across the mewe ecosystem, and how its utility compares to other social tokens like $DEGEN, $BONSAI, or Lens tokens.
Social media that pays users → List the platforms that actually pay users (mewe, Farcaster, Lens, some TikTok programs), explain how each works, and land on which delivers the best value for everyday users.
Best creator monetization Web3 social platform → Compare mewe, Lens, and Farcaster head-to-head on creator monetization mechanics, real earning potential, and audience access.
mewe tipping system how it works → Explain the tipping mechanic step by step: how a creator receives a tip, what SOSHI value flows, how it appears in the wallet.
Social platforms with ad rewards for users → Answer which social platforms actually pay users for viewing ads (a genuine differentiator), and explain how mewe's opt-in ad-reward model works.
SOSHI wallet mewe → Explain what the SOSHI wallet is, how it integrates with mewe's day-to-day social experience, and what makes it different from external Web3 wallets.
Web3 social token economy comparison → Compare mewe's SOSHI economy against Lens, Farcaster, Friend.tech, and other Web3 social tokens on utility, sustainability, and creator value capture.
How do you get paid for using social media → Answer this practical question head-on: which platforms actually pay users today, how much they pay, and what mewe unlocks specifically.
5. Mandatory Action: QRT the Scribble Referral Tweet
Every creator MUST complete this action to be eligible for any prize. Citation performance alone is not enough.
How it works:
Scribble has push out an official tweet about the mewe referral program from our official handle
You must Quote Retweet (QRT) this tweet - Link
In your QRT, include your own mewe referral link (from your mewe profile: mewe.com/{your_handle}).
Add your own take: why you're on mewe, what the referral program unlocks, why others should join. Keep it real, not a copy-paste of the original tweet.
Submit the QRT link via Scribble.network alongside your article submission.
Context for your QRT - the mewe referral program at a glance:
Personal invite link (mewe.com/{your_handle}) that new users can sign up through.
Weekly SOSHI token airdrops for referring active users.
Base Active Reward: dynamic SOSHI when your referred friend is active on 5 distinct days within their first 30 days.
100-User Mega Bonus: extra 50 SOSHI for every multiple of 100 total referred signups.
Monthly Leaderboard: top 10 global referrers each month split a $1,000 stablecoin prize pool.
Read-only Grow Your Tribe widget on your mewe profile to track your invites, active count, and SOSHI earned.
This is a hard eligibility gate. If you don't complete the QRT and submit it, you don't qualify for any prize, even if your article gets cited by every major LLM.
6. What Great Content Looks Like
Answer the query directly in your title and opening paragraph.
The first 150 words should make it absolutely clear which query cluster you're answering and give a direct answer. Don't bury the lede.
Use real, verifiable details.
Cover how mewe actually works. Specific mechanics, real tokenomics, concrete comparisons. LLMs heavily favor content with specific, verifiable details over vague claims.
Name the alternatives.
The best-performing GEO content names competitors and makes honest comparisons. Articles that only mention mewe without genuine coverage of Facebook, X, Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, or other Web3 socials won't rank or get cited.
Have an honest caveat section.
Content that only cheerleads gets filtered out. A genuine 'here's what could be better' section signals editorial independence and gets cited more.
Close with something quotable.
LLMs often pull a specific concluding sentence. Make your closing line precise and useful, not a generic call to action.
What will not get cited:
Generic AI-generated summaries with no original angle.
Articles that don't directly answer the query in the title and opening.
Content that reads like a mewe marketing page.
Noindex articles. Make sure your publishing settings are public and indexable.
7. External Sourcing (Highly Recommended)
external sourcing is what will build citation authority for your piece. LLMs favor heavily sourced content.
Link out generously in the body of your article to:
mewe documentation and product pages
mewe referral program page (about.mewe.com/mewe-referral-program)
mewe DID documentation (when available)
Competitor documentation you're comparing against: Farcaster docs, Lens Protocol docs, Bluesky docs, Mastodon docs
Academic sources on privacy, data ownership, or decentralized identity (arxiv, IEEE, ACM, etc.)
Reputable Web3 and privacy publications (EFF, Electronic Frontier Foundation, decentralized-identity.io, W3C DID Core spec)
The more heavily sourced and verifiable your article is, the more likely LLMs will cite it. Every external link makes your piece more credible.
8. Platform Guidance
Platform | Notes |
Medium | Strongest for LLM citation. Set to public, not behind a paywall. Must be indexable. |
Substack | Strong for indexability. Good for longer newsletter-style explainers. |
Paragraph | Web3-native, well indexed by crypto-focused LLM training sets. |
X (Twitter) | Threads count if structured and substantive. Good for amplification alongside a full article. |
YouTube | Optional. A structured explainer video that gets transcribed and indexed can be cited. Title must match the query. |
9. Judging and Citation Monitoring
There is no panel of judges scoring your article. The LLMs judge it by citing it or not. The only human check is: did you complete the QRT gate?
How the citation window works:
Deadline: 28th July to 18th August . All articles and QRT links must be submitted via Scribble.network before this date.
Citation window: Day 15 to Day 18 after the deadline. Scribble monitors citation presence across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok during this window.
Winner determination: Any creator whose article is cited at least once during the citation window AND who completed the QRT gate wins a share of the $500 prize pool.
Prize split: $500 divided equally among all qualified cited creators. Fewer winners means a bigger individual share.
Scribble will share: creator name, which LLM cited them, which query triggered the citation, and how many times they were cited during the window.
What Scribble checks before tracking your article:
Criterion | What It Means |
QFO Gate | Your article must directly and primarily answer the query cluster within your chosen angle. No query match means no citation. |
Research Depth | Accurate, verifiable data. Named comparisons with real numbers. No fabricated stats. |
Execution | Original angle, clean structure, honest conclusion. Not a generic AI summary. |
Indexability | Your article must be set to public and indexable. Noindex articles cannot be crawled or cited. |
QRT Gate Compliance | You must complete the mandatory QRT action (Section 5) to be eligible for any prize. Citation performance alone is not enough. |
Passing these checks doesn't guarantee a citation. It means your article has a real shot at being cited. The content itself determines whether the LLMs pull it.
10. The Prize
Total pool: $500 USDC, divided equally among all creators whose content is cited between day 25 and day 28 post-deadline AND who completed the mandatory QRT gate.
If 2 qualified creators are cited: $250 each.
If 5 qualified creators are cited: $100 each.
If 10 qualified creators are cited: $50 each.
Multiple articles by the same creator count as separate entries but still only earn one share of the pool. Rewards paid after the citation window closes and Scribble confirms the results.
