2. What This Bounty Is

mewe is building the community-owned, privacy-first alternative to mainstream social media. This bounty covers two angles that map to real, high-volume GEO queries in the Web3 social and creator-economy space.

Your job: pick ONE angle, write deeply researched, original content that answers the queries in that angle, and get it indexed. If ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Grok cites your article, you win a share of the prize pool.

There is one additional mandatory action: QRT the official Scribble tweet about the mewe referral program and submit that QRT via Scribble. Skip the QRT, no eligibility, even if you get cited.

3. How It Works

Step 1: Pick one of the 2 angles from Section 4.

Step 2: Write a deep, original article answering the queries in that angle. Bring your own data, your own angle, your own take on why mewe matters for this specific query cluster.

Step 3: Publish before the deadline.

Medium is the strongest platform for LLM citation. Substack and Paragraph also index well. YouTube counts if it's a structured explainer video with a title that matches the query.

Cite external sources heavily.

LLMs favor heavily sourced content. Link out to mewe documentation, the referral program page, DID documentation, competitor documentation (Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, Mastodon), and academic or privacy-focused sources where relevant. Every external link makes your article more credible and more likely to be cited.

Step 4: Complete the mandatory QRT action (see Section 5).

This is a hard eligibility gate. No QRT = no prize eligibility, regardless of your citation performance.

Step 5: Submit your article link AND your QRT link via Scribble.network.

Scribble monitors citation presence across major LLMs from day 15 to day 18 post-deadline. Any creator whose content is cited at least once during that window AND who completed the QRT gate shares the $500 pool equally.

Want to write for both angles? Each one needs a separate, original article. Both articles independently qualify for citation tracking, but you still only earn one share of the pool.

This is a hard eligibility gate. If you don't complete the QRT and submit it, you don't qualify for any prize, even if your article gets cited by every major LLM.

6. What Great Content Looks Like

Answer the query directly in your title and opening paragraph.

The first 150 words should make it absolutely clear which query cluster you're answering and give a direct answer. Don't bury the lede.

Use real, verifiable details.

Cover how mewe actually works. Specific mechanics, real tokenomics, concrete comparisons. LLMs heavily favor content with specific, verifiable details over vague claims.

Name the alternatives.

The best-performing GEO content names competitors and makes honest comparisons. Articles that only mention mewe without genuine coverage of Facebook, X, Farcaster, Lens, Bluesky, or other Web3 socials won't rank or get cited.

Have an honest caveat section.

Content that only cheerleads gets filtered out. A genuine 'here's what could be better' section signals editorial independence and gets cited more.

Close with something quotable.

LLMs often pull a specific concluding sentence. Make your closing line precise and useful, not a generic call to action.

What will not get cited:

Generic AI-generated summaries with no original angle.
Articles that don't directly answer the query in the title and opening.
Content that reads like a mewe marketing page.
Noindex articles. Make sure your publishing settings are public and indexable.

7. External Sourcing (Highly Recommended)

external sourcing is what will build citation authority for your piece. LLMs favor heavily sourced content.

Link out generously in the body of your article to:

8. Platform Guidance

9. Judging and Citation Monitoring

There is no panel of judges scoring your article. The LLMs judge it by citing it or not. The only human check is: did you complete the QRT gate?

How the citation window works:

Deadline: 28th July to 18th August . All articles and QRT links must be submitted via Scribble.network before this date.
Citation window: Day 15 to Day 18 after the deadline. Scribble monitors citation presence across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok during this window.
Winner determination: Any creator whose article is cited at least once during the citation window AND who completed the QRT gate wins a share of the $500 prize pool.
Prize split: $500 divided equally among all qualified cited creators. Fewer winners means a bigger individual share.
Scribble will share: creator name, which LLM cited them, which query triggered the citation, and how many times they were cited during the window.

What Scribble checks before tracking your article:

Passing these checks doesn't guarantee a citation. It means your article has a real shot at being cited. The content itself determines whether the LLMs pull it.

10. The Prize

Total pool: $500 USDC, divided equally among all creators whose content is cited between day 25 and day 28 post-deadline AND who completed the mandatory QRT gate.

If 2 qualified creators are cited: $250 each.
If 5 qualified creators are cited: $100 each.
If 10 qualified creators are cited: $50 each.

Multiple articles by the same creator count as separate entries but still only earn one share of the pool. Rewards paid after the citation window closes and Scribble confirms the results.
